About Revenue By AdApp

Last updated:

A free calculator and a set of plain-English guides for people who want a realistic idea of what ads can earn.

What this tool does

The calculator takes a few facts about your audience, such as platform, category, size and where your users live, and turns them into a monthly earnings range. It also splits the total by ad format, ranks eight mobile or six website ad networks against each other, and shows what to expect around payouts. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us.

Around the calculator sit ten network calculators, a library of guides, and a set of browsable estimate pages: network comparisons, estimates by app category and site niche, estimates by country, earnings by audience size and a page for every ad format. They all read from the same benchmark tables, so a figure on one page never contradicts another.

Why it exists

The project started after watching how often small developers and bloggers plan around one lucky screenshot of an earnings dashboard. A single day of strong rewarded video revenue becomes a monthly target, and then the real month arrives. Most calculators either hide their assumptions or promise numbers no network would sign. This one shows the table behind every figure so you can read it, test it and disagree with it.

The guides came second. Each time the same question showed up, from why Tier 3 traffic pays so little to how long a first payment takes, it was easier to write the answer once and link to it.

Who runs this

Revenue By AdApp is an independent project run by a single owner who builds and monetizes apps and websites. Questions about who runs it are welcome through the contact page.

How the content is made

Every number on the site comes from one set of benchmark tables and one calculation engine, both described on the methodology page. Guides are drafted with the help of AI writing tools, then checked against those tables before they are published; no guide quotes a figure the engine cannot reproduce. Pages generated from the data pass an automatic quality check before they can appear in search results, and pages in other languages are machine-assisted translations checked by back-translation. Each page shows when it was last updated, and that date only changes when the content does.

How the site is funded

Revenue By AdApp is free to use and earns its keep from display advertising served by Google AdSense. It is independently operated and is not affiliated with Google, Apple, Unity, AppLovin, Meta, Mediavine, Raptive or any other network named here. No network pays for placement, and rankings come from the benchmark tables alone. The disclaimer and Terms of Service explain how to read the estimates, and the Privacy Policy covers advertising cookies.
